When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 16th. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you still RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly. If you have any issues submitting your RSVP through the website, please reach out to Gracie, Justin, or one of their parents directly with your response.
What time should I arrive?
We’d love to see your smiling faces starting at 3:00, before that, the venue won’t be ready for guests. Please find your seat by 3:20 PM so we can kick off the “I do’s” right on time!
Can I bring a plus-one?
We’ve carefully planned our guest list and are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire! The ceremony will be outside on grass, so plan your shoes accordingly. It’ll likely be warm, but the barn is climate controlled. The wedding party will be in slate blue—feel free to choose a different color if you’d rather not match!
What is 'cocktail attire'?
Generally speaking, cocktail attire means to dress elegantly and sophisticated, but not nearly as formal as black-tie events. Like something you’d wear to a nice dinner, more formal than day wear but not too flashy or extravagant like black tie.
Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?
Yes! Everything will take place at White Barn. No need to travel between spots.
What’s the parking situation?
There is a paved parking lot directly in front of the barn with plenty of spaces available, including handicap-accessible spots.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! We’ll kick things off with light bites during cocktail hour, followed by dinner. For dessert, enjoy a classic Pittsburgh cookie table and cake, and we’ll have an open bar throughout the evening.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones and cameras away until the reception—we promise we’ll share plenty of professional photos later!
Is there a hashtag?
Yes! Tag your photos with #GoingRickard so we can see all your amazing memories!
